This is an exciting opportunity supporting prime supplier to Bae Systems in Saudi Arabia:- Location Riyadh.

2 year contract therefore the successful applicant will be able to apply for NT status with submittal of P85 form. UK NI payable for the first 52 weeks.

SPECIALIST SKILLS REQUIRED:

-Understanding the role of the Prime Contractor and sub prime contractor
-Understanding of training delivery in military aviation environments
-Very good overall and broad project management expertise, familiar with whole lifecycle.
-Be capable of managing complex project issues and influencing Customers and Suppliers.
-Oversee all project activities to ensure the professional integrity with which they are carried out.
-Ensure project support capability insertion through in-kingdom business and Saudisation is a key requirement of the Customer. Develop and ensure that the Solution is acceptable to the (authorities/customer/ KSA industry).


The role requires the application of Project Management skills covering the entire Project Lifecycle. The Project Manager will support the Head of Programme in the application of and compliance with the BAE Operational Framework , PM functional processes, including LCM and on all projects and tasks. Specifically Planning, Monitoring and Control; Risk and Opportunity Management, Performance Management and Life Cycle Management, Bid Status and Phase and Contract Reviews.

Core accountabilities:
-Control and reporting of assigned Projects
-Executive level engagement with the BAE Systems Project Customer and other stakeholders as appropriate with a view to understanding and exceeding requirements and expected levels of service.
-Display and set an example of the types of behaviours expected of Executive level employees across the business.
-Develop and mentor Saudi National team members with a view to succession when the time is right.
-Willing to challenge people inside and outside the organisation in order to act consistently with ethical business practices
-Any duty or accountability required and deemed appropriate at Executive/Managerial level by the business.

FUNCTIONAL KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED (qualifications/experience):

APMP Qualification or equivalent is a must
Thorough understanding of the LCM or equivalent processes, both phase and design reviews.
Track record of managing a number of projects successfully.
Expert planning and scheduling skills, ensuring the complex activities of interrelated project teams are controlled, managed and linked into the overall business plan
Good leadership, delegation and team building skills for the effective people management of large and complex programmes
High level problem solving and financial control skills
Substantial understanding of commercial, financial and project leadership
Expert in project review and control, including the use of EVM techniques.
